The Intelligence Analyst will support SOCCENT PAI OSINT Cell (SPOC) J2 by fulfilling mission requirements for comprehensive SME and technical support services. Support areas include: Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)/Publicly Available Information (PAI) collection expertise, All-Source analysis, and levels of Socio-cultural dynamics/human terrain analysis, to include collection strategies and policy support. Opportunities for OCONUS deployments exist and shift work is possible based on customer requirements and OPTEMPO.

PAI exists openly in the digital environment and is often paired with a variety of intelligence sources to fill critical gaps. Often, PAI is paramount when developing a baseline for social behavior / dynamics, establishing a pattern of life, substantiating previously obtained information, or fully realizing operational risks / considerations.

The analyst will employ unique tradecraft while leveraging a comprehensive suite of digital research tools, search engine optimization, and data/metadata/geo-data visualization software.

Throughout the data acquisition process, analysts will utilize cyber-security-focused proficiency and digital signature reduction to ensure attribution is managed appropriately and the virtual footprint remains mitigated. Collected information is thoroughly reviewed in order to extract all relevant material to then construct a comprehensive representation of the available content to meet customer requirements.
