Our work depends on a Programmer joining our team to support a US Government Agency customer in Fort Lee, VA.  The selected programmer can work remotely, anywhere in the CONUS United States.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Programmer supporting this federal government customer, you will be trusted member of a software engineering team focused on improving existing defense software.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Designs and codes applications solving business issues; upgrade and offer patches to existing computer programs.
  • Develops diagrams and flow charts on computer operation process.
  • Develops, tests and analyzes programming applications
  • Develops technical documentation.
  • Determines, develops and documents software specifications throughout production lifecycle.
  • Analyzes and rectifies software errors and present precise status reports on time.
  • Build and develop applications using computer languages such as XTML, JAVA, ABAP, Visual Basic and C++.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Experience in 2 or more of the following:  ColdFusion, Java, Salesforce, K2, PowerApps
  • IAT II or above qualifying certification (most common is CompTIA Security+)
  • Years of experience will vary dependent on level selected as there are multiple openings. Programmer 3 years or more experience, Programmer Senior 7 years or more, Programmer Advisor 10 years or more   
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience

The likely salary range for this position is $57,069 - $95,305, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
