Identify needs, create and maintain system documentation.
Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.
Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.
Provide advice and training to staff members and end-users.
Provide tier 1 and 2 support.
Configure, manage, and maintain servers within a VMWare virtualized environment
Working knowledge of maintaining systems, applying STIGs and patches, and perform, firmware updates
Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012r2 and 2016 servers
Working knowledge with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers (preferred)
Experience with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) – agents and ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO)
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
Ability to participate in special projects as required.
BA/BS or equivalent years of experience
2 or more years of systems administration experience of Windows Server 2012 or later
8570 certification: IAT Level II Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)
Secret DoD Security Clearance
Computing environment certificate in Microsoft Windows (MCSA) or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
