As a Customer Services and Information Technology Officer (CSITO) directly supporting the customer, you will be trusted to provide both critical technical support in addressing complicated IT-related issues and delivering exceptional customer service. In this role a typical day will include:

  • Working as part of a motivated, high-performing team
  • Resolving critical IT-related issues that negatively impact the customer’s mission
  • Collaborating with teammates and government customers to identify process improvements
  • Lending expertise and institutional knowledge to less experienced CSITO’s to improve the overall technical excellence of the team
  • Manage personal metrics, alignment to KPI’s, and the office’s ticket queue

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Active Directory, Windows 7, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and demonstrate hardware/application troubleshooting skills.
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of customer product base (software/hardware).

  • Windows System Administrator, PKI

Desired skills/experience:

  • Comsec
  • System Accreditation

Desired Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
     

Currently Required –

  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012
  • System hardening and patching
  • Experience with Cisco ASA 5510
  • Experience with Site to Site VPN on firewalls
  • Updating group policies
  • Understanding of SNMP and IAVA patches
  • Working knowledge of Visio to create cable and network diagrams
  • Maintain and update SOP’s and SSP for system accreditation
  • Understanding of Oracle 10g
    Senior Microsoft Windows System Administrator; Working knowledge of Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012; Working knowledge of PKI certifications; Cisco ASA 5510 experience; Updating Group policies; Understanding of Oracle 10G; Working knowledge of ComSec, encryption devices, and electronic keys; Working knowledge of Visio to maintain and create new cable and network diagrams; Maintain/update SOP's and SSP's for system accreditation.

Independently provides advance level technical interpretation and solutions in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.

Troubleshoots system hardware and software specific issues that are moderate to high complexity in scope.

Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software.

Performs advance software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.

Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.

Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.

Independently ensures data/media recoverability by following a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.

Conducts advance hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Ensures that performance and security of computers meet the needs of network users.

Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May provide guidance to less-experienced personnel.

Evaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategies.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
