support our government client’s activities in the Northern Virginia locations.
At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Change Management Analyst supports the design, deployment and operations of Change Management processes and procedures and assists in the IT Change Management Infrastructure governance and operations.
The Information Technology Service Management Change Management Analyst is a member the Change Management Team responsible for ensuring that standard methods and procedures are implemented for the efficient and prompt handling of all changes, in order to minimize the impact of change upon service quality.
Support the planning, design, and implementation of ITSM Change Management processes.
Assist with the deployment and transformation of ITSM Change Management infrastructure processes and procedures.
Provide analysis and support for on-going service delivery, performance, and governance operations for Change Management.
Work with key process stakeholders to capture process policies, work instructions, and knowledge expertise.
Support monitoring services throughout the ITSM Change Management process life cycle; verifying adherence to specified process requirements and support quality assurance activities (Monitor).
Assist with analysis, evaluation, and assessment leading to development of recommendations for process improvements, optimization, and/or development efforts for IT processes (CSI).
Support evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of processes to meet quality standards.
Facilitate TEMs and other requirement gathering work sessions.
Drive continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of the change management process.
Work as a self-starter who delivers high quality work and can adapt to new challenges, either on their own or as part of a team.
Working knowledge of the Service Management workflows and ITSM processes.
Relevant experience as an ITSM Process Analyst in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Good written and communications skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes.
Working knowledge of Change Management workflows, and ITSM processes.
Relevant experience as a Change Management ITSM Process Analyst in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
ITIL certifications or training and experience working within the ITIL framework.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM management tools.
Strong Change Management background.
Experience with ITSM tool sets, preferably ServiceNow.
Experience driving process improvements.
Proven ability to engage and partner with stakeholders across any number of business functions.
Participates in special projects as required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of directly related work experience.
Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
