The GDIT USAREUR JMSC KM shall oversee and provide support for the JMSC Knowledge Management Program. The KM shall be responsible for Content management on the JMSC Share Point sites, as well as interfacing with JMSC Government KM Lead, JMSC staff and Spoke MTC Chiefs. The KM shall work with JMSC internal and external stakeholders on reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes, business systems and user needs to achieve process and change management improvements as well as developing/implementing methodologies and systems to improve overall operational and training management results for the organization. The KM assists JMSC with the development of new knowledge management processes, supports diagnosis of current issues, and will redesign, reconstruct, and monitor processes to make sure they are effective. The Knowledge Manager works with Government sensitive data and may be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences.
Skills. • Demonstrated knowledge of electronic knowledge repository management, intranets/portals, collaborative tools, and social media tools • Ability to transform the ideas of management and implement appropriate solutions in the organization • Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies required to implement and maintain web portals • Good communications and planning skills • Experience with Army training, exercise planning, or training support • Experience with Information Dashboard Design • Experience with Business Analytics or Systems Analysis
Minimum Qualifications. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in information management or related field • Five (5) years’ experience working in the Microsoft SharePoint environment or similar web based collaboration software tool. • Five (5) years’ Experience working in electronic knowledge repository management, intranets/portals, collaborative tools, and social media tools • Three (3) years’ experience designing and implementation of web design, collaboration tools, content management • Be a US Citizen • Possess a SECRET clearance
