Enterprise Technical Lead

GDIT is looking for a leader of a six person technical team to operate and grow an advanced enterprise Government ATOed system, based at a modern, program-operated data center facility in Manassas, VA. The Enterprise Technical Lead will be responsible for all aspects of system design, engineering, enterprise maturity, security, 24/7 operations, and customer communications.

Technical skills are a must, but just as important is the enjoyment of communicating with your team, within the GDIT program team, and with the Government customer. Presentation skills, both verbal and written are critical, as you need to be able to sell your audience on your ideas and demonstrate your mastery of the proposed solutions.

The Enterprise Technical Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the systems and facilities located in a modern commercial data center in Manassas. GDIT has built out first-class administrative office space and a TOC where the Operations Team you lead is based, and the position includes a private window office.

GDIT and the program focus on employee growth and obtaining certifications to enhance your skills and value. Most of the six team members you will manage have a CISSP and several are Red Hat Certified Engineers (RHCEs), and you too will be given the opportunity to do the same, as well as obtain certifications in other products within our repertoire.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in an enterprise technical environment and/or technical management capacity
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Active CISSP Certification
• Active Technical Certification(s)
• Solid Red Hat Linux Skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and comprehend technical details clearly.
• Understanding of how to support a FISMA Moderate/High ATO environment with quarterly POA&Ms, compliance audits, and routine OMB, NIST, and CISA data calls and guidance.
• Experience with a 24/7 SLA support role
