MetroPark - Fort Belvoir General Dynamics TS/SCI is Required
Working with our customer, chosen individual will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers and computers running Microsoft operating systems.
Chosen individual should have at least five years of experience performing the following:
- Administering Sharepoint MS servers with progressively responsible experience in server administration including supporting and managing servers in a production environment.
- Experience identifying and analyzing server requirements; planning the design and deployment of new technologies and upgrades. - Experience applying industry best practices on Windows Server 2012 R2 and later operating systems encompassing configuration, implementation, and security. - Server administration experience adminstering Sharepoint within a Microsoft (MS) Windows environment. Perferably MS Windows Server 2012 R2 and later configuration to include performance monitoring, tuning, and making recommendations to improve overall system performance and application efficiency. - Experience working within Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.- Experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.Additionally should have: - Two years of experience administering HP blade and storage technologies. - Three years of experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate. - Four years of experience using PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate common and repeating tasks.- Experience ensuring output is consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines. - TS/SCI clearance- DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification
BA/BS or equivalent combination of experience, training and education.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) - Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2016 Certification (may be required to attain after hire)
