**This role is currently remote, and will remain fully remote once COVID restrictions are lifted at GDIT.

A Day In The Life of the Hyperion Developer:

• Developing and enhancing Hyperion EPM applications artifacts for business based on identified requirements
• Developing and enhancing integration and automation activities for EPM solutions utilizing batch, integration, and scripting
• Supporting other team members on developing key business processes to support a Hyperion Planning application and related technologies
• Helping on the definition of data sourcing strategies and data validation approach
• Ensure quality control and data integrity in all aspects of development.
• Providing installation; configuration; restoration and troubleshooting assistance
• Helping understand the business requirements and translating into a successful system solutions implementations
• Providing support on requirements gathering, design, development; testing; and implementation activities
• Supporting user training; projects and process documentation; and productions rollouts
• Defining test conditions and test scripts to ensure system stability, validity and data integrity
• Contributing to project strategy and partnering with team to create and improve methodologies and best practices
• Working on EPM infrastructure to identify and resolve environment issues
• Following the team’s established DevOps and compliance processes
• Supporting the technical aspects of our systems and solutions such as integration with source systems using Data Management, EPM Automate and other automation/integration tools

Qualifications:

• 8+ years hands-on experience with EPM related tools plus a Bachelors Degree OR 12 years experience with EPM related tools in lieu of the bachelors degree
• Full life cycle Hyperion/EPM implementation experience
• Strong communications skills
• Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts
• Ability to understand finance and accounting principles
• Excellent analytical and research skills and attention to detail
• Experience creating functional and technical documentation
• Understanding of success factors related to geographically diverse teams and multicultural teams and application of mitigation strategies
• Understanding of SDLC concepts

It would be nice if you had:

• Relational reporting, SQL experience
• Experience with Linux 6/ Linux 7
• Familiarity with OCI, AWS or Azure
