GDIT anticipates hiring a Microsoft Azure Subject matter experts to work on implementation of Azure and Microsoft Office 360 for a government customer in Washington, DC.   

The primary duties will be:

  • Planning and executing transitions from on-premise technologies to the Azure cloud for a variety of applications 
  • Administering an Azure environment.
  • Comprehensive management of cloud integrations and platforms.
  • Supporting a portfolio of services and capabilities associated with the end-user services domain including advising the customer on technologies and strategies. 
  • Performing analysis for proactive identification of, and solutions to, issues in the environment.
  • May act as a team leader, and shall be responsible for coordinating and communicating with the government customer and other stakeholders, troubleshooting, documentation and deliverables. 
  • Organizes, directs, and manages task order operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks in support of the CNCS Systems Operations Support and CNCS Systems Engineering Support
  • Developing computer systems specifications that address business requirements and fit with company/customer system architecture standards  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS
  • 5+ years experience
  • Experience designing and/or implementing Microsoft Azure and Office 365 cloud solutions
  • The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Microsoft certification
  • Public Trust, Tier 4
