Our work depends on a Systems Technology Group Lead joining our team to support the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) contract for the United States Postal Service (USPS) activities located remotely.

As the Systems Technology Group Lead supporting the United States Postal Service, you will be trusted to leading the core service support organizations charged with managed infrastructure services of over 20,000 servers. In this role, a typical day will include:
Lead team in building, configure, test physical and virtual servers, including operating systems, installing and configuring middleware products, and building database servers and services.
Coordinate server deployments, application code deployments, rollbacks, and troubleshoot deployment failures.
Lead coordinated activities across groups and workstreams to respond to and complete all assigned change requests tickets and incident tickets in prescribed SLAs.
Contributes to the completion of major engineering projects and functions in a project leadership role.
Develops solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems of advanced scope and complexity.
Performs highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
Oversight of highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.
Prepares and maintains a wide range of documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
Provides guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers.
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes.
Coaches and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
Serves as a team / task leader.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
BA / BS required (MS preferred)
10+ years of related experience with 8 years of project management experience
Experience leading IT operations teams and infrastructure managed services
Secure a Public Trust Clearance
Program Management Professional (PMP) preferred
ITIL 4 Certification preferred
