GDIT is hiring for a variety of roles in the National Capital Region (NCR) to support the upcoming SPELLJAMMER program, anticipated to start Q4 2022. The scope of this effort is to provide highly skilled cyber targeters, analysts, and operators to support the dynamic mission needs of a US government customer.
Overall Program task include:
(1) Cyber Targeting - examine large volumes of collected cyber data looking for operation leads. Depending on the type of data, a targeter may apply digital forensics, packet analysis, or other investigative techniques to identify traceable data from within the collection. Targeters search this data against existing classified sources and document any findings. Targeters frequently collaborate with peers and work as a team to solve difficult cyber challenges.
(2) Cyber Analysis - draft official reports based on existing cyber requirements, validate leads identified by cyber targeters, and incorporate additional details gathered from cyber operators. Cyber Analyst have a strong understanding of the ongoing cyber mission requirements of their assigned AOR and work to quickly and accurately disseminate relevant cyber intel to mission partners.
(3) Cyber Operations aid in the execution of cyber operations by drafting and coordinating targeting packages, recommending specific vectors to increase cyber collection, and creating and maintaining the associated infrastructure. Cyber operators closely support sensitive operations and work directly with key mission partners to ensure their urgent cyber requirements are met.
