Our work depends on a Project Management Lead joining our team to perform overall project planning (including a detailed project plan in Microsoft Project), project reporting, project management, quality assurance, and documentation.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Perform overall project planning (including a detailed project plan in Microsoft Project), project reporting, project management, quality assurance, and documentation
• Manage the overall project in accordance with the project plan, the RFP and the Proposal.
• Create weekly/monthly internal status reports and external status reports for the client.
• Manage Technical and Administrative team members including a Technical Architect, Business Analyst’s (BA), QA , partner vendors and all staff to support the solution for the duration of the project
• Create and maintain Risk and Issue Registers.
• Support IV&V with testing, including User Acceptance Test (UAT) and validating performance, stress testing, and other testing and validation as deemed necessary.             
• Report to the Program Manager and serve as liaison to the IV&V vendor or team.
• Facilitate Monthly Steering Group Meeting and present overall status, issues, and risks to participants.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education: BA/BS or equivalent. PMP Certification.

● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience, including prior management of programs focused on health data and data warehouse/data lakes.

● Preferred Skills:

• Experience running programs serving a government health entity, or that deal with large amounts of clinical or provider data.
• Management of Software development or integration programs with annual budgets in excess of $15M year
• Prior experience working in, or managing, a PMO
• Technical background
• MS Project

● Location: Jackson, MS (Will spend 25-75% of the time in the office, depending on stage of the project)

The likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $154,211, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
