WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS or equivalent

Required Experience: 15+ years

Required Skills:

  • Documented experience with ETL development utilizing Python for data repositories.
  • Must have previous experience with AWS Services Data Migration Service (DMS) and Change Data Capture (CDC).
  • Extensive experience with database management systems (Oracle, PostGres, MySQL)
  • Familiar with Serverless framework (Lambda)
  • Demonstrated development experience extracting, transforming and loading data from disparate, structured data formats into enriched, query-friendly structured data in indexed files.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing ETL design documentation such as source/target mapping and data dictionaries.
  • Demonstrated experience using task tracking and version control technology such as GitHub or JIRA
  • Demonstrated experience developing in a cloud environment such as Amazon Web Service working with the following services (RDS, DMS, EC2, CDC, SNS, Cloudwatch)
  • Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
  • Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Desired Skills:

  • Background in DevOPS configuration and server maintenance.
  • Cloud administration or equivalent cloud certification.
  • Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development
  • Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in software development
