Our work depends on a Database Analyst Senior joining our team for our Applications, Infrastructure, and Systems Support Third Iteration (AISS III) contract at Scott AFB Il. 

AISS III provides systems engineering, migration, integration and sustainment, service lifecycle management, system, network and database administration, training, testing, architecture and system design, configuration and asset management, and information assurance support.

HOW A DATABASE ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Implements and maintains smooth operation and physical design of databases.

  • Conducts performance tuning of indexes, optimization of storage functionality, and databases in general.

  • Reviews database design and integration of systems, provides backup recovery and makes recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements.

  • Maintains security and integrity controls.

  • Formulates policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitors transaction activity and utilization.

  • May work with vendors.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years’ experience, or Associate’s and 8 years’ experience, or High School Diploma + 10 years’ experience in related field.

  • CompTIA Security + or equivalent required to start.

  • Certified in one of the following:  Windows, RedHat, Solaris, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, Mongo, VMWare, CISCO, F5, Tivoli.
