As a Business Process Analyst Expert analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop business information processing systems. Coordinates with business and technology teams. 

  • Serves as a lead analyst provides expertise on continuous process improvement strategies, organizational redesign, change management projects, and performance measures for very complex and multiple business process engagements. 

  • Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives. 

  • Analyzes and defines new and existing business processes to take advantage of technology in a manner consistent with enterprise objectives and the enterprise software architecture. 

  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to identifying and eliminating duplication, outsourcing opportunities, streamlining, centralizing, business improvement processes, manufacturing improvement processes, and/or vendor selection. 

  • Use quantitative analysis methodology to perform data, cost and benefit, and/or process measurement analysis. 

  • Research industry trends for application of process improvement techniques and best practices. 

  • Recognized as a subject matter expert in business process analysis. 

  • Participates in special projects as required. 

  • Utilizes strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills throughout workplace performance. 

  • Provide support in analysis of the agency and customers financial requirements.  

  • Support analysis to propose requirements for planning, programming, budgeting, and execution.  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technology field. Experience may be substituted for education. 

  • ​5 years relevant experience

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, based on a T5 or T5R investigation. 

  • Experience working with financial planning and financial analysis a strong benefit. 

  • Excellent written communication skill. 

  • Candidate will be required to acquire DoD Instruction 8570 Level II Certification within 6 months of assignment
