Our work depends on an Infrastructure and Data Center Lead joining our team to support the DCSA Customer in the Quantico area.

As an Infrastructure and Data Center Lead supporting a federal government customer, you will be trusted to provide a flexible enterprise IT environment that can meet changing strategic goals and priorities as well as demands for capacity and new capabilities that support the DCSA mission.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • The Infrastructure and Data Center Lead will provide the expertise, best practices, and agility to meet the constant changes and evolution of the enterprise IT environment.
  • Maintain working partnerships at all levels of the DSS organization (strategic, tactical, and operational) in order to cohesively design, implement, and maintain networks, systems, applications, and technology within the enterprise.
  • Works with all parts of the organization, including but not limited to, CND, CS, CCRM, and OCIO (including other third party contractors) to integrate and improve.
  • Coordinates with third party vendors and contractors to ensure technology roadmaps are part of the overall data center operations lifecycle management plan.
  • Assist in developing the enterprise architecture plans and technology roadmaps and continually evaluate business cases for new technologies in the enterprise. Maintains awareness and transparency on SLAs and performance measurements within the task.
  • Leverage the IOD to improve transparency and situational awareness.
  • Develop, update, and maintain a rigorous LCMP for all task area equipment, software, and hardware in coordination with Asset Management.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.


  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of 10 or more personnel performing Network Support, Server and Storage Operations and Administration, and Disaster Recovery requirements
  • DoD 8570 IAT II - one of the following IA certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP,GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
    Compute Environment Certification in addition to the baseline IA certification requirement for their level listed above the DoD 8570.1 mandate states IATs with privileged access must obtain appropriate Computing Environment (CE) certifications for the operating system(s) and/or security related tools/devices they support as required by their employing organization. (e. g. Microsoft certifications for Microsoft systems support technicians, Cisco certifications for Cisco technicians, Linux Certifications for Linux technicians or the specific system the IAT is spending most of his or her time supporting)
  • Position requires current eligibility for TS/SCI clearance
