SYSTEMS ENGINEER / VA. / TS/SCI/FS Poly

Bachelor’s degree IT field or 5 years’ experience in data management or ingestion functions.  Minimum 3 years’ experience.

- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications

- Test, debug, and refine software to produce the required product

- Perform strategic systems planning, business information planning, business, and analysis

- Analyze and study complex system requirements

- Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities

- Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects

DATA ENGINEER / VA. / TS/SCI/FS Poly

Bachelor’s degree IT field or 5 years’ experience in data management or ingestion functions.  Minimum 3 years’ experience.

- Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

- Building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

- Building analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.

- Present information using data visualization techniques

- Utilize system software to monitor the performance; manage system data to maintain performance efficiencies; ensure sufficient capacity to meet requirements

- Respond to inquiries regarding software and hardware operation; resolve problems

- Baseline and forecast server performance data; refine server hardware and software Configurations

- Conduct automation feasibility studies, including workflow analysis, space design, or cost comparison analysis

- Manage, monitor, and administer database system performance/schedule activities; oversee daily performance; perform backups/restores; archive data; provide technical assistance and support

SOFTWARE ENGINEER / VA. / TS/SCI/FS Poly

Bachelor’s degree IT field or 5 years’ experience in data management or ingestion functions.  Minimum 3 years’ experience.

- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan specifications and layouts

- Confer with IT professionals (project managers, systems analysts, engineers, programmers, etc.) to design the system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces

- Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance

 - Provide project status, proposals, and technical issues such as software system design and maintenance

- Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems. Coordinate installation of software system
