Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated engineers to support the Systems Integration efforts of the monitoring team supporting a geographically dispersed, state of the art Enterprise. Candidates will utilize experience with computer systems, software, enterprise applications and monitoring tools to deploy and integrate solutions that enhance system and service availability and performance. The selected candidate will design, build, deploy, integrate and administer tools and solutions within multi-domain, multi-OS, and multi-network environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engineer, deploy and configure tools that perform availability and performance monitoring, utilizing both on-premises and cloud-based technologies
  • Systems Integration of tools through APIs, databases, scripts, and plug-ins, etc.
  • Manage systems configurations, rules, and policies.
  • Support systems throughout the entire IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, operating procedures, and providing O&M support
  • Perform systems hardening to DoD Standards. Support tasks required to apply vendor patches and new designs to keep products up-to-date and meet security requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in IT industry to include familiarity with enterprise services such as Directory Services (AD, LDAP, DNS, DHCP), Email (Exchange), File and Print Services, Software management (SCCM, WSUS, RetHat Satellite)
  • 3+ years of systems integration experience
  • Good hands-on Linux and Windows administration
  • Strong scripting skills (bash, PowerShell, Python, YAML, etc.)
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II qualification

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or other IT related field.
  • Experience with system, network, or application monitoring tools very desirable (Aternity, Dynatrace, LibreNMS, VrOPS, ActiveIQ, MS SCOM, etc.)
  • Experience with Dynatrace Managed or SaaS products highly desireable.
  • Good understanding of Linux / Windows systems administration techniques
  • Experience supporting virtualization such as AWS, Azure, VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft App-V, etc.
  • System configuration based on security guidelines such as DISA STIGs is desired
  • Location: Onsite
