Provides technical support to the Littoral Combat Systems Integrated Team Trainer at the Littoral Training Facility in San Diego CA. This support will require interfacing directly to all levels of GDIT as well as the LTF Command. The tasking will entail the following:
Supporting the installations of the new LCS trainers (2A and 2C). This effort will require managing the tasks and resources to ensure timely completion within the allocated budget
Starting up and shutting down the team trainers to support the LTF Instructors and other technicians
Provide support to the operators and instructors of the LTF on the Instructor operating Station and the tactical combat / weapon systems.
Troubleshoot hardware and software failures or issues associated with the LCS Trainers
Perform Preventative Maintenance on the Combat and training hardware.
Have excellent communication skills
Perfrom and provide guidance on installation configuration, and/or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems.
BS or 10 + years of military experience. Prefer military experience with the Littoral Combat Ship and the tactical combat systems.
Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Clearance at the SECRET Level
Able to communicate to all levels of support staff as well as provide briefings to senior leadership
Understand the Navy Training process and logistics process
Be competent in the Microsoft products (Word, Power-Point, Excel, Project)
Have some knowledge in software programming skills
