GDIT’s SkillBridge Internship Program is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. Any rank, enlisted or officer, may apply for SkillBridge. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from GDIT, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. A SkillBridge Internship is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training and through individual internships during the last 180 days of military service. Your unit Commander must authorize participation in GDIT’s SkillBridge Internship Program prior to start of internship.

Currently serving on Active Duty in the U.S. Armed Forces
Service member must have completed at least 180 days on active duty
Be expected to be discharged or released from active duty within 180 days of starting their internship
Will receive an honorable discharge
Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS
Received Unit Commander approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge
Demonstrates critical decision-making skills
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Intuitive with an ability to identify and solve complex problems
Aptitude and passion for technology
Sufficient understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

A Day In The Life Of A Talent Intelligence Analyst
On any given day, you may:
*Research the corporate landscape to assist in the Supply/Demand Analysis of specific skillsets and profiles in given locations
*Utilize the AI tool, Talent Neuron, to assist with recruiting projects and create PowerPoint presentations
* Utilize AI Recruiting Tools like SeekOut to identify viable candidates and create talent short lists
*Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets
*Work with senior recruiters to create staffing plans
*Be involved in candidate outreach to include: emailing, calling, and texting viable candidates and screening those who are interested
2 yrs. of data analysis or similar experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficient at Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work under pressure with quick deliverables
No clearance needed
Remote Position, must have access to 10 Mbps of download speed and 1 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth
