Performs a variety of general administrative and operational tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of an office group or customer in a highly cleared environment.
CORE HOURS: 730-4: Special Assistant II will manage the calendars of five senior-level group managers. The Special Assistant will independently schedule appointments, meetings, and other activities, and deconflict calendar items when necessary. Candidate will represent management interests in meetings as appropriate. There are no physical requirements. The Special Assistant may be asked to take minutes or create agendas for meetings. No lifting required. Travel is infrequent to other buildings in the WMA. Key systems used by the candidate will include Outlook, Microsoft Office, SharePoint and other internal sponsor systems. User is expected to have familiarity with these systems, though on the job training is available. The Special Assistant will be responsible for an efficient workflow of office operations. Candidate will manage an inventory of office supplies and will order/replenish as needed. The candidate may coordinate with facilities and logistics on equipment delivery and/or office renovations to ensure a minimal disruption to the office and principals' schedules. The candidate will not provide travel support outside of sending cable which the Special Assistant will manage.
