GDIT has an exciting opportunity available for an UC/AV/VTC/ Networking SME at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. This position requires someone with a current and active TS clearance. This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, suitably experienced, qualified, and able to follow instructions clearly but also able to make command decisions on the spot in order to achieve the aims of the organization. Provides technical audiovisual, multi-media, and video support services for meetings, conferences, training sessions and other events.

Qualifications:

Must be fully knowledgeable and capable of performing all work necessary to plan, design, develop, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, and/or coordinate modification of the inside /outside cable plant Network Enterprise Center (NEC), voice / video communications systems as part of the Army’s Unified Capabilities (UC) Architecture, at the USARPAC MCF and USARPAC Staff locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Will provide guidance and network administration on configurations and perform diagnostics on the building infrastructure; voice / video and IP systems architecture.
  • Will provide SME in configuration, management and viability of primary switches, all remote nodes, analog and digital components, and various communications devices. The contractor will work in conjunction with Network Enterprise Center (NEC), as necessary, to resolve failures of application, hardware, interfaces and networks.
  • Responsible for submitting Capability Request (CAPR) work orders to the 30th NEC for all IP Management. Provisioning of IP Address space Sub netting, when required
  • Will be the SME and provide guidance and network administration on configurations and perform diagnostics on the building infrastructure; voice / video and IP systems architecture.
  • The contractor will provide SME in configuration, management and viability of primary switches, all remote nodes, analog and digital components, and various. Communications devices required for transport of voice and data traffic across the long-distance voice/data network system across and off site.
  • Will implement new systems hardware and software and develops operating procedures, monitors the ongoing operation of a complex network environment.
  • Will be an expert in all UC aspects and will provide management and troubleshooting of VoIP Call managers, multipoint control unit (MCU’s), and Telepresence Servers within the facility2.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA/AS, 5+ years experience
  • Must have a current and active TS clearance
