At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Mission Software Developer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to understand the technical and functional design requirements related to the ServiceNow Platform. In this role, a typical day will include:
Creating and managing scripts and workflows.
Developing and implementing ServiceNow modules, to include the creating and/or customization of core applications such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Service Request Management and Knowledge Management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a technical discipline related to the specific skill, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Technical Skills: Experience with system integration using web services and other web technologies (i.e., XLM, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP)
Experience with other scripting languages (i.e., Python, Perl, etc.)
Expert in Java Script
Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications
Experience with ServiceNow data model, capabilities and relationships
Experience with relational databases
Experience with the ServiceNow Business Rules and all of the scripting aspects of the ServiceNow Platform
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
