GDIT is activity recruiting a Technical Program PMO Analyst to support Hosting, Operations and Maintenance (HOM) services for HIGLAS. This program includes developing and maintaining a secure and certified architecture to support e-Government initiatives; minimize the CMS security risk, enhance the protection of privacy and security of data; and improve the CMS’ ability to accommodate the growing workload.

The ideal candidate will be able to plan and execute work for on-time delivery, write/edit process and PMO documents, conduct/facilitate action team meetings, analyze special project data and recommend solutions to improve the status quo.

The candidate must be able to pass a CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drives and supports the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and project teams in planning and executing the contract work.
  • Performs technical writing, editing and formatting of written products.
  • Maintains the SharePoint repository including granting access rights, including project documentation, review artifacts, and approvals. 
  • Ensures that documents meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (Section 508 Refresh) criteria and are accessible to end-users with vision challenges.
  • Support various PMO activities including the ownership and maintenance of the Lessons Learned process and other special projects, which may be assigned over the course of the contract.
  • Will perform the management and maintenance of the QA Support Team’s processes including the Deliverables process, the Lessons Learned process, the Deviation/Waiver process, SharePoint Repository/Data Management process,, and the Americans with Disabilities Act/Section 508 Refresh process.
  • Will be responsible for general program support to the PMO Manager and the QA Support Team Lead.  Will assist in creation of presentations for customers, lessons learned, action item tracking, and project coordination.

EDUCATION:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience, technical training and/or military in lieu of degree ).


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • The candidate must possess at least 5 years of experience working on projects or in project management activities.
  • The candidate must be able to work some overtime hours and/or weekend hours as needed to meet deadlines.
  • The candidate must possess skill in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Access) to be able to edit and format written products.
  • Experienced Technical Editing with PMO Analysis to meet the needs of the program.
  • The candidate must be detailed-oriented and able to present a logical and understandable premise.
  • The candidate must possess the people skills to facilitate, solicit, and negotiate information from the project team members.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint and ServiceNow
  • The ability to customize SharePoint and ServiceNow reports for team members’ use.
