NIWC NRDE Cloud is looking for a person to provide an excellent level of Help Desk support to our customer. In this role, the successful candidate will have the following job duties:
Answer calls related to the NRDE cloud services Provide phone coverage from 7am to 3pm (CST) daily.
Document all calls in the appropriate ticketing system for routine issues
Provide tier 1 support
Escalate issues as needed in a timely manner to tier 2 and 3 level engineers
Perform routine system administrative tasks on Windows and Linux based systems
Perform routing system administrative tasks on applications
Follow US Navy processes and procedures for change management and ATO requirements
Perform other duties as necessary
Associate degree with 0-2 years experience or;
High School degree with 4 years in a related field and a good understanding of computer operations
Tier 1 help desk support experience
Knowledge of Windows and Linux based systems
Ability to take direction from multiple sources
Ability to work across geographically diverse locations
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work off hours for scheduled work or to support an on-call rotation
Active Secret Security Clearance,
Ability to maintain standing within the Cyber Security Workforce
DoD 8570 Certification level II or higher. Eg. Security+CE. within 3 months of hiring.
Experience administering enterprise applications
