The Learning Program Manager (LPM) for Seabee Readiness will be assigned to the Naval Civil Engineering Corps Officers School (CECOS) and will work onsite at the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE) in Port Hueneme, CA. The applicant must reside within commutable distance to work onsite at CSFE in Port Hueneme, CA.
The LPM will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Seabee Readiness functional area to coordinate and manage the development and maintenance of curricula and to ensure schedules and standards are met. Responsibilities may also include individual production work, such as test development or minor course updates.
The LPM is guided in the execution of his/her duties by NAVEDTRA 130 – 138 (series), NETC Instructions/Notes/Notices, and local CSFE Instructions, as well as the guidance and direction of the lead CECOS LPM and Curriculum Developer and will be expected to successfully qualify as an LPM per CSFE standards.
Applicants must be able to manage both people and projects, to communicate clearly, to maintain highly professional interpersonal relationships, to maintain the delicate balance between duties and responsibilities to both GDIT and the Government.
Requires documented work experience in construction management and training delivery and/or development. Requires broad-spectrum knowledge of all Seabee rates and NCF functional areas. Requires familiarity with NAVFAC and NCF doctrine, programs, and policies.
Requires a minimum of six (6) years' experience as a senior enlisted or officer in the Naval Construction Force, including expeditionary warfare experience. Prior experience as a Navy Instructor is highly desired.
Experience in all aspects of training system analysis and design, and leadership of a multi-disciplinary training design implementation team. Experience using technology-enabled communication, collaboration, learning and learning management systems, such as Moodle, is highly desirable.
Candidate must be a US citizen and able to qualify for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC).

The likely salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
