Job Description

The Contracts and Acquisition Management Office (CAMO) of GDIT is seeking a Contracts Administrator Sr. Advisor with a diverse set of experiences to join our Enterprise Contracts team. This position will focus on cradle to grave administration of the large-scale IDIQs, particularly the Governmentwide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs), including developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. The ideal individual will have knowledge and experience in administering IDIQ contracts, particularly GSA GWACs and task orders; have an ability to apply strategic resolutions to address business and programmatic risks; as well as identifying and analyzing complex and strategic contract matters.

HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Ensures contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance
  • Timely completion and submission of contract deliverables, including contract reports and Contract Access Fee (CAF)
  • Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
  • Serves as the SME and trusted advisor on all contractual matters of GWACs
  • Interact daily with Program Managers and internal stakeholders concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
  • Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal reviews
  • Reviews and negotiates various types of agreements
  • Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations
  • Makes recommendations regarding contracts implementation
  • Maintains relevant contractual procedures and practices
  • Attend customer meetings and industry meetings as required
  • Participates in special projects as required
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 10+years of experience in Contracts Administration. In lieu of degree 14+ years of experience in Contracts Administration required.
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Clearance: None
  • Location: This is a hyrbid position working between the office in Falls Church, VA and remote
  • Required Skills & Abilities: Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as, advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements.
  • Preferred Skills & Abilities: US Federal Acquisition experience. Experience with the managing GWAC contracts with the General Services Administration (GSA). NCMA Certification (CFCM/CPCM).
  • Travel:  There may be some travel required as directed (less than 20%)
