Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
GDIT is seeking a Oracle Hyperion Architect to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Corporate Information Systems to provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Support Services of their Corporate Business Systems (CBSOM). As the Application Programmer, you will provide application support for numerous business applications. You will support DOE’s Corporate Business Systems, used by over 14,000 users to fulfill the agency’s mission to promote energy independence, progress scientific research, and protect the nation through nuclear security. You will be part of a 60+ person team supporting DOE on multiple task orders under our Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Services on this single award BPA with a Period of Performance through early 2028 will be performed at the DOE office located at 20300 Century Boulevard, Germantown, MD, 20874. (Currently remote due to COVID-19). Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
This is an ODI and Oracle Hyperion infrastructure/technical resource, with the ability to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot load balanced Hyperion tools in a Linux environment. o Install and configure EPM products in Linux environment o Upgrade EPM products from prior version with minimal downtime o Provide specs for new environment based on the current and future growth o Ability to configure disaster recovery, high availability, and failovers o Ability to configure load balancing and SSL in different layers o Patch assessment and recommendation o Provide best practice and knowledge transfer for ongoing support o Perform cloning activities (data, metadata, ODI tables, etc.) o Manage migrations between environments (DEV->QA->PROD) o Manage day-to-day integration activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a mathematics-intensive discipline with a minimum of 10+ years of intensive, progressive and relevant experience in Oracle Hyperion. Without a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required. Be available to work outside of normal work hours.
