This position requires higher level critical thinking skills and a customer service mindset to support this unique workforce. Because of the requirement to input data into specific Government HR systems, some portion of the work will be transactional in nature. The AA will have various levels of autonomy/discretion when operating within given work parameter to interact with the workforce as needed to get the job done. This position is generally behind the scenes type work however, the AA will be required to interact both verbally/in writing with (in person and via electronic communications) the workforce that consists primarily of staff officer professionals within two Sponsor Directorates at various levels from line officer to supervisor. The AA will be responsible for initiating and completing component tasks for onboarding, separation and the permanent change of station (PCS) process for the unique officers once an assignment has been approved. The AA will be required to complete specific tasks related to the PCS that is done within the component and work with other business areas that have a part in the process. The AA will be expected to use their own initiative to update data and relay information to other offices as necessary. Ability to multitask, handle competing priorities, and complete requirements in a timely manner is a must. Attention to detail, ability to research across multiple systems, solid writing and organization skills is extremely essential for this requirement. Core hours are 8 hour workday between 6am-6pm.
