Our work depends on Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers of all levels joining our team to support Defense Health activities at San Antonio, TX, Rosslyn, VA, and remote locations.

At GDIT, our people are at the center of everything we do. As a Data Scientist supporting Defense Health, you will be trusted to establish enterprise data management platforms, governance models, data security, and data management practices that ensure data standardization, transparency and data focused decision making across the organization. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with Defense Health to solve enterprise data and analytics challenges
  • Establishing common data management strategy across source systems, products, and PMOs
  • Establishing data management best practices across the enterprise, ensuring that best practices are institutionalized as new task orders are spun off and ensuring standardization of incoming data (i.e., ICD9 / ICD10)
  • Standing up data management platform to support all prime project teams
  • Providing full suite of data management services including data governance, data engineering, platform and infrastructure management, and data security
  • Supporting tracking and reporting on outcomes and success metrics
  • Your success will be measured through the outcomes and improvements resulting from your thought leadership and execution.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Technical skills
  • Public Trust to Secret Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Training/Certification in AI/ML
  • Data Optimization
