GDIT has an opportunity for an Enterprise Architect working with a large line of business within GDIT that is currently supporting multiple contracts for the Defense Information Systems Agency(DISA) in the DC Metro area. We are seeking energetic, talented individuals that have a desire to help transform customer requirements supporting the DISA Storefront Software Development and Production support contract.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will provides expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
Creates enterprise-level strategic business and technology solutions and works with technical specialists to devise and define strategic solutions.
Requires in-depth knowledge of business applications, applications development methodologies, database principles and techniques, and hardware/software operating systems.
Collaborates across the enterprise at all levels to align the long-term technology and applications strategy with client's long-term business strategies.
Demonstrates the ability to understand government expectations and partners with technology for desired business results. Utilizes strategic long-term vision in partnering business and technology while determining business direction.
Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.
Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.
Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.
Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.
Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.
Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology Able to perform direct and advisory roles in oversight, planning and implementation of projects and initiatives.
Conduct problem resolution and identify process improvements.
Support and Prepare: SW Development & Product Roadmap - Monthly updates, Tech recommendations, Solution strategies, System Requirements Analysis, Design Documents
DoD IAT II compliance a plus and preferred
- Masters Degree
- 15 years related experience
- Required Secret Clearance
