GDIT is seeking a Test Engineer Senior. In this role you will review and evaluate software products and systems to endure adherence to GDIT and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid quality standards. Daily work will include creation of complex Oracle DB queries at a development level using PL/SQL to validate reporting and data file changes. Work will be fast paced at times.

This is a remote based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Create complex Oracle DB queries at a development level using PL/SQL to validate reporting and data file changes
  • Create SQA Test Plan, test cases, Test Summary
  • Conducts tests of systems and/or software applications
  • Assists with project planning activities associated with software engineering projects.
  • Documents and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Conduct 508 testing and knowledge of assistive technology (JAWS)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements \ Required qualifications:

  • BS, 5+ years’ experience or equivalent in experience, programming and reading detailed code
  • Strong math background ability to read and understand complex formulas for quality report from manuals required
  • Ability to multi task, working numerous large project with similar project release dates and meet all mandatory release dates required
  • Strong Understanding of short and long term stays for MDS \ SNF program Quality Reports, HOSPICE
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries, joins, calculations, counts, nested statements, etc.
  • Ability to work in Jira boards (Sprints and Kanban) , confluence and Spira
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Federal Government contracting work experience
  • Prior experience working remotely full-time

The likely salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
