Job Description:

  • Define and formalize standards for interface components, quality assurance, and performance across the system architecture
  • Preparing solution packages with evaluation of available technologies, investment recommendations, and cost/benefit analysis
  • Assess information systems architecture for dependencies, gaps, change strategies, and overall IT ecosystem fit
  • Identify and execute solutions based on predefined business processes, unique requirements and use cases, technical or vendor guidelines, and best practices to ensure design solution meets the customer’s objectives
  • Collaborate with customer and internal leadership to perform technical and business discovery; map current-state technologies to target architectures
  • Presenting complex technical solutions to stakeholders in compelling and articulate way, clearly illustrate how the proposed solution conforms to program success criteria and incorporate review comments
  • Demonstrating leadership skills and technical expertise that will instill customer confidence
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding cloud services to maintain and mature offerings
  • Work with vendors to understand their technology and new features
  • Working on multiple design solutions in parallel

Experience, Education, and Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Cloud certification
  • 5+ years of experience as technical lead for full-lifecycle development projects including a large-scale, successful AWS migration
  • Experience developing with AWS cloud native architecture
  • Business process and technology acumen
  • Proven expertise in engineering best practices for planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, roll-out and support of information systems architectures
  • Superior oral, presentation, and written communication skills and proven ability to interface with stakeholders and collaborate with team members
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience working in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile environments; working alongside multiple teams operating in parallel to accomplish large initiative deployments
  • Demonstrated successful experience as a Solutions Architect transforming and consolidating multiple data stores and technologies including but not limited to: databases, system security, API management, tools for BI, dashboard visualizations, and reporting; and hosting and infrastructure components
