IT Program Manager

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an IT Program Manager supporting the customer, you will be trusted to lead the group-wide effort to improve efficiency in work processes as they stand up a new ServiceNow portal by:

  • Gathering requirements from internal and external stakeholders, documenting them, and translating into requirements for the development team
  • Analyzing work processes and providing recommendations for improving the efficiency and accuracy of completion of tasks and projects
  • Providing project management leadership to the team in accordance with the Project Management Framework
  • Performing complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is desired but not required
  • Minimum of 15 years related experience or appropriate combination of relevant experience and education
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • Local travel to other sites in the WMA may sometimes be required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow workflow and functionality
  • Experience with requirements gathering and requirements managemen
  • Experience in process analysis and improvement
  • Demonstrated project management/PMF experience
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences (and vice versa)
