Candidate must be an US Citizen, and able to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance and USCIS EOD to start work

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Junior level, Agile Project Reporting Analyst to join our Project Management Services team on an IT operations project supporting DHS USCIS. The candidate will provide project management support tasks for large enterprise operations and maintenance. Candidate will be responsible for project report development and project support tasks that are associated with designing, configuration, and installation support for large enterprise IT projects. This position ensures that all the assigned project and program task activities are completed to specification, within an established time frame.

This position works under the general guidance of the EIOSS Program Manager, Project Management Team and USCIS EID PMs and other stakeholders, in an Agile. DevSecOps fast-paced, rapidly changing, collaborative environment, and requires strong communications and analytical skills, willingness to learn and acquiring new skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Develop reports and documentation on demand, ensure deliverable compliance, and interface between customer organization and team members
  • Provide status reporting of ongoing support activities, project activities, outages and impairments to systems and provided services
  • Provide operational management report for the projects, monthly reports, weekly reports, and act a scribe for meetings
  • Develops work plan/schedule, technical project plans, project and task order level reporting
  • Attends customer meetings and serves as a client liaison
  • Coordinates development of project deliverables, generates monthly reports including technical status, management performance, and financial projections
  • Work with Waterfall and Agile/DevOps project teams and processes
  • Working in an ITIL v3 or v4 framework to deliver enterprise services
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet schedules and deadlines, to multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments and pay close attention to detail
  • Fully engaged in the implementation of a DevOps practices for supporting IT

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or the equivalent and 2 years related experience or a MS and 1 years of experience or the equivalent
  • 1-2 Experience working in a larger project management team that supports enterprise mission critical service
  • 1-2 years of experience, working in a project team, developing various reports for the project management teams
  • Some experience, using MS Project. Project Server, JIRA, Cost Management tools, TFS, Ticketing (ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy)
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills along with project management skills

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Agile Certifications (CSM etc.,)
  • US Citizen with DHS Public Trust suitability clearance/EOD
  • Experience with any DHS agencies or entities
  • Familiarity with AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Services, and other Cloud environments
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps practices and ITIL processes
