At GDIT, we get work done. As a Systems Administrator supporting the Intelligence Community, you will be trusted to work on an Agile team and coordinate tasking. In this role, a typical day will include:

Demonstrated experience and knowledge with the LINUX operating systems (e.g., CentOS) Demonstrated knowledge of AWS to include EC2, EBS, lAM, RDS, ElasticCache, VPC, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, etc. Provides installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software. Provides customer and end-user software troubleshooting and support. Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems through approval and processing of patches. Demonstrates experience with bash shell scripting. Monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources Conducts outreach and coordination with stakeholders, and acts as liaison between stakeholders, Government and Contractor Management, and the team. Works in an agile environment and is able to follow Lean and SAFe Agile Methodology


Keeps user stories updated in the requirements tool and on the scrum board Enter new user stories into the requirements tool Work with team to groom the backlog Attend daily scrums Manage the change management process for deployments Manage process for deployments Request system accesses for team members and systems Attend meetings and TEMs


  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience. 
  • 5 Years of relevant experience
  • Scrum Master Experience (Required)
  • Experience working on an Enterprise software development team (Desired)
  • Change management experience (Desired)
  • Communications and or marketing plan experience (Desired)
  • Risk Management experience (Desired)
  • TS/SCI with Poly
