Job Description

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Facilities Manager at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.

Our work depends on Facilities Manager joining our team to support classified Customer programs working in our secure space. You will enable teams to deliver impacts to Customer Mission and Priorities.

HOW A FACILITIES MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages facilities projects and plans facilities utilization.
  • Supervises non-exempt and exempt staff.
  • Ensures continued day-to-day operations of 3 vaults within our facility including, power, heating/cooling, and Customer network connectivity.
  • You will support special projects as needed including renovation planning, regularly planned maintenance, property tracking, and other projects as needed.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience, including experience with Customer's Digital Voice & Video organization
  • Required Technical Skills: Ability to use MS Office application suite, as well as drawing applications such as MS Visio
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI/Polygraph
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Facilities management experience; ability to perform basic computer setup (cabling, keyboards, mice, monitors and printers); understanding of Customer's Digital Voice & Video processes; property management experience.
  • Location: On-site at GDIT Herndon, VA facility
