CORE HOURS: 8-430 The Administrative Assistant (AA) will support the Sponsor Training Community and Partners by being the face for training and classroom related questions. The AA will also act as the conduit for instructors and training officers assistants as far as room set-up to include room supplies and IT experience. The AA will act as back-up to LEARN Line and provide registration services for the Sponsor and Partner students attending training. Concierge members must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as well as proficiency in effectively handling difficult customer situations. The AA must be able to build and maintain relationships with training professionals throughout the Sponsor Organization and Sponsor Community. The AA will manage courses and classes in the Sponsor Training application, process ad hoc requests for classrooms, and assist with the enrollment of Partner officers wishing to take Sponsor training, and respond and route inquiries from internal and external customers about training related issues. They are required to run reports on training related data via COGNOS, assist our mission partners with information on the numbers of students attending training at the Sponsor Chantilly campus regarding parking and food preparation. The AA must possess strong skills in critical thinking, excellent oral and written communication, strong customer service and be able to work across the Sponsor and with Partners. The AA must have strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing demands and must be reliable. The AA will be responsible for assisting with classroom set-up and tear down as needed and will also schedule training for others as needed. No travel is required. The AA must be able to become proficient with Sponsor Computer System, and Partner Computer Systems and quickly become proficient in the Sponsor Training Application and COGNOS applications in order to provide registration support to their customer base. The AA will need basic skills with MS Office.
