At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Cloud Program Manager supporting the government health organization, you will be trusted to perform as part of a team to ensure the effective Modernization Support Services of the customer applications that support customer programs, activities, and resources. In this role, a typical day will include:
Lead team of operations, architectural, and development staff covering multiple cloud projects and initiatives
Manage and expand a cloud services portfolio.
Manage and implement Cloud Solutions for COTS, GOTS, Oracle Financial system and related applications.
Serve as the primary point of contact with federal clients and stakeholders
Work with a team of DevOps/SecOps Engineers to architect cloud solutions with the responsibility to ensure the customer maintains an overall cohesive integration with itself, partner systems, and solutions.
Work with the customer to integrate the Cloud environment into their existing environment with Oracle Financials and related applications.
Work with the development team to ensure that the architecture will support the proposed applications.
Support and advise on application assessment, migration and modernization.
Drives scalability and operability of supported cloud systems and infrastructure.
Manage project budgets and procurement operations
U. S. Citizen
Ability to secure a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
12+ years of program management experience and increasing levels
10 years of IT Project and/or Program Management experience
7 years of supervisory experience
Expertise in implementing cloud solutions.
Experience with full project lifecycle management
Expertise in cloud service delivery models
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams
Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey cloud technologies and solutions to customer personnel
Ability to work within a collaborative team and a fast-paced dynamic environment.
