Security specialists are required to constantly monitor the security posture of the system.
Security specialists will be available to provide 24/7 support coverage based on operational needs.
Security specialists will provide on-site support to maintain operational CMP systems. System troubleshooting will occur, followed by fix-actions via configuration changes and/or scripts that can be applied to the operational system. The specialist will follow up with developers to implement the forward-fix to incorporate in succeeding software releases. If it is determined that a fix requires a major code change to the baseline, the technician will interface with the appropriate dev team to implement the solution. This will also require collaboration with Release Train Engineer (RTE), and Product Owner (PO). This will require notification to the Configuration Management Manager for proper documentation.
Security specialists will also support development teams (both internal and external to the CMP program) in onboarding tools and additional capabilities on the CMP system, to include regularly scheduled system installs of new releases.
