Participates in a team of doctrine writers, training developers, mobile training teams, and social media experts to formulate, design, modify, and publish unit training management doctrine, guidance, and training support. Conduct training as part of a team that provides approximately 24 video teleconferencing sessions via DCS/DCO and 36 onsite visits per year. Responsibilities include design and develop training material; set up accounts for training attendees; conduct training; create, deliver and brief AARs on training sessions; complete trip reports; assist team members in creating and updating training products and social media posts; brief Government leaders as requested and provide required information to the team lead for contract reporting purposes.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a related business field. Graduate of the Army Captains Career Course (CCC) or Advance Leader Course; or other sister service schools. 5 + years military experience with working knowledge of ATMS/DTMS/CATS/ CM/ ATN. 3 + years’ experience teaching/briefing groups of 30 + personnel. Exceptional oral and written communication skills required. Familiar with training and task development, task-based strategy development, unit training at Company and Battalion level (Brigade level preferred). 3 + years of training and education experience. Experience in working part of a team to accomplish complex tasks. Working knowledge with ADP/ADRP/FM 7-0, Train To Win In A Complex World, AR 350-1, Army Training and Leader Development. Contemporary training and education development experience and working knowledge of the TRADOC REG 350-70 series, TRADOC PAM 525-8-2 The Army Learning Concept for 2015. Knowledge of Army organizational structure and staffing, processes and procedures, and doctrine. 3 + years of experience in military planning, leader development, training, operations, force design/development, and combat developments. Familiarization with TDC and MS SharePoint to manage actions to integrate input from multiple sources and to share information among unit training management stakeholders. Secret Clearance is required.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in a related business field. 10 + years military experience in Operational Army training management or training/training development in Institutional Army. Experience planning, preparing, executing and assessing training. Experience with the Army Training Network (ATN).
