Job Description

GDIT is looking for a Software Developer to build/support applications serving critical missions of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Requires proficiency with Microsoft .NET languages (primarily ASP.NET, C#, and LINQ), MVC, Entity Framework, Unity, and Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation Server, ReSharper.  Desired skills include: SharePoint, NHibernate, jQuery and JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS, Oracle and SQL Server databases, T4 templates, Classic ASP

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret clearance (interim is acceptable).
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and DEA suitability requirements.
  • Minimum 10 years of total web development experience. Experience must include:
    • Minimum 5 years of ASP.Net C# MVC based web development experience using Visual Studio 2008 or higher
    • Supporting applications with 3,000+ end users
    • Architecture with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) having 250+ tables and at least 1 million total rows
    • At least one software development project with a minimum of 1,000 automated unit tests
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with Agile development practices
