The Network Cabling Technician works on a team supporting cabling, equipment and C4ISR system installations. This position pulls, terminates and dresses Category 5/6 and Fiber Optic cabling. Installs and documents IT equipment, cable runs, cable ladders and supporting systems. The Network Cabling Technician will install cabling, install and build copper and fiber connectors and perform QA testing on all cables. The Network Cabling Technician will also terminate junction boxes for low data rate twisted pair cables.
