0-3 years of related software development experience.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
Development experience with Java
Understanding and experience with different components like service layer, Data Access Layer and transaction management
Knowledge of the Best Practices of software development and Coding standards.
Troubleshoots problems and provides customer support for application issues.
Strong interpersonal presentation and communication skills.
Additional Desired Skills:
Experience in web development frameworks like Spring Framework 4/5, Spring MVC, Spring Security
Experience in ORM implementation (eg. Hibernate 4/5)
Experience designing & working with relational databases (eg. Oracle).
Experience creating HTML5 user interfaces utilizing frameworks such as JQuery & Bootstrap.
Familiarity with build and deployment (eg. Maven)
Familiarity with source control tools.
Performs software development for client/server Java applications programs.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Generates new code and corrects; converts; and/or modifies existing code to meet specifications.
Participates in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancing existing software.
Analyzes test results and recommends corrections to more experienced software engineers.
Troubleshoots problems and provides customer support for software operating system and application issues.
