GDIT is currently seeking at Data Scientist in Washington, DC to support our customers mission-critical needs.


  • Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly Clearance

  • Minimum of 5 years data science experience

  • 3 years of experience with Apache Hive, Apache, Pig, Apache Spark or MapReduce, developing queries and analytics

  • Needs familiarity w/ AWS


  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

  • Develops data-driven solutions to business challenges of moderate scope/complexity.

  • Utilizes advanced tools and computational skills to interpret, connect, predict and make discoveries in data.

  • May use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, efficiencies, process improvements, and other business outcomes.

  • May assist with identifying opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
