GDIT is looking for a CMMI and Quality Assurance Specialist
joining our team to support the Shipboard ATDL Program at NIWC Pacific, Point Loma Navy Base, San Diego, CA.
This is an onsite position in San Diego, CA
In this role, a typical day will include:
Support Code 535 in current NIWC Pacific's project management guidelines and directives to include Quality Assurance (QA) review of the Lab’s policies and procedures
Perform QA duties to establish and maintain project documentation through procedure audits, reviews and updates as required
Serve as recorder for meetings and briefs, preparing slide decks and meeting minutes for dissemination
Maintain project action item database, track assigned action items, and report progress to program manager
Provide administrative support including, but not limited to the following; excess program requirements, Inventory Management (GE and OM&S), internal recall/organization charts/distribution lists
Facilities trouble call requests, and additional functions to support the process management team
Desired qualifications
Active Secret clearance or higher
Master’s, bachelor’s degree, technical school, high school graduate and/or equivalent years of technical experience for a minimum of 4 years
Current CMMI experience (within the last 3 years) in Tactical Communications Systems projects to include TDL; ATDL and/or related C4I systems is desired
Experience with the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) at Maturity Levels 2 and above for both Development and for Services. Demonstrated experience should include applied experience with establishing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and training in support of CMMI capability and maturity level initiatives and an in-depth knowledge of and experience with the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) methodology
Desired experience also includes knowledge of the Navy Inventory and management (GE and OM&S)

The likely salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
