Knowledge and experience of routing, switching, and current Cisco networking software (most current versions of Cisco IOS) are essential.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft’s Active Directory structure, desktop configuration and maintenance, and ancillary peripherals and servers are required.
Ensures individual team members attain and maintain technical proficiency and applicable certifications.
Ensures the team performs system backups, hardware, and software installation and upgrades and troubleshoots server, user, and network issues related to the Microsoft Windows network operating system environment, as well as server-based applications.
The Site Lead coordinates all site activities and administrative requirements as outlined in the Task Order and other associated and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other directives from the customer and the Program Management Office (PMO).
The Network Engineer and Site Lead is responsible for assisting the customer, the COR, and the PMO with coordinating local contracts, procurements activities, and accounting for and tracking Government Furnished Equipment assigned.
The Site Lead works closely with the PMO, HR, and Recruiting for all personnel performance issues (to include timecard review and approvals) as well as terminations and staffing.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
