Job Description

ARMA Global/GDIT is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Senior Advisor, with Angular 10 or better experience, as well as .Net Core Entity Framework.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position requires a self-starter with a wide range of knowledge and experience in all aspects of full stack development.  Plans, develops, tests, and documents large complex developments of Information Systems software in a team environment. Performs requirements analysis on customer provided system requirements and develops a systems architecture and design, develops software engineering requirements, then develops work boards (tasks) for development.  Support code development using Angular, .Net Core and Entity Framework.  Assists in preparing detailed software engineering requirements from which code will be written. This includes software requirements documents, user stories and test plans. Writes and updates technical documentation in Mark Down specific to the software development and processes used. Uses Azure DevOps as the software code repository, performs those standard GIT Hub processes (Branch Pulls, submits code Pull Requests, etc.) required by DevOps as GIT Hub is its underlying repository.

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of programming experience.

  • Strong experience in Angular 10 or better, and like frameworks (i.e., React) will be considered. 

  • Strong .Net Core, Entity Framework is also a must. 

  • Experience with Microsoft’s Azure Dev/Ops capability as the development code management repository.

  •  Experience with enterprise and/or complex developments, using Agile Software Development Approaches.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A proven ability to initiate, investigate and solve technical issues with minimal technical oversight.

  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills towards the identification and resolution of software issues.

  • A key interest and proven pursuit to increase scope and depth of technical expertise.

  • An understanding of development in a stand-alone on-premise development environment. 

  • Desire, interest and proven capabilities to operate in a fast-paced team environment with distributed areas of expertise.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Security Requirements

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance
