Job Description

Computer Systems Analyst - Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements in conjunction with the lead business analyst
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and test execution scenarios
• Perform integration, system, and user acceptance testing
• Other testing responsibilities include: verification of system capabilities and system enhancements or changes, requirements verification, performance testing, regression testing, load testing, high availability testing, system and software level integration troubleshooting, test reports, root-cause analyses
• Record and log all user-reported defects
• Analyze defects and coordinate with the client which release the fix should be allocated to
• Provide feedback in timely manner for all reported issues and change requests
• Research, analyze, write, edit, and proofread technical data and sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and specifications
• Create, update, and maintain various SDLC documentation for each release.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree plus
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA
• Good grasp of the principles, theories, and concepts of the Agile software development process
• Experience with implementing test scripts, test automation using Katalon.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

The likely salary range for this position is $48,000 - $72,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
